way up north
Start the weekend early with an escape way up north, to Bar Harbor, Maine, through this photo essay, shot last year on my iPhone:)
Last June, my husband and I joined my parents on a very foggy, very beautiful vacation to Bar Harbor, Maine, where, among other adventures, we had the absolute pleasure of indulging in blueberry ice cream in the quaint little town, hiking Jordan’s Pond, and exploring Cadillac Mountain. Clock out early (mentally!) today and enjoy a trip way up north. All photos shot on iPhone by me, Katherine Mansfield.
Okay, yes, Jordan Pond (below, images from a hike around the pristine body of water) is breathtakingly beautiful, but can we give it up for the real MVP: Jordan’s Pond popovers and tea (below, top right) enjoyed in the sweet restaurant on-site, pictured above?!
Above: The view from near Cadillac Mountain. Below: Photos taken atop a very foggy Cadillac Mountain, followed by three images from Acadia National Park’s ethereal Sand Beach.
Thanks so much for adventuring with me! If you know someone who could use an escape, please feel free to share this photo essay with them!
